Pushkar Camel Tour

Every year thousands of devotees throng the lake around the full moon day of Kartik Purnima in October-November to take a holy dip in the lake. Huge and colorful cattle fair "The Pushkar Fair", is also held during this time. Pushkar fair is well-known for it's Camel trading and other attractive activities.

Dance music and colorful shops spring up during this fair. Also on sale are mouth-watering traditional delicacies. Colorfully attired village folk enhance the fun of the occasion.

A host of cultural event against the backdrop of this pretty setting is also organized including attractive puppet shows. Cattle auction and camel races are also a part of the festivities.

Day 1: Delhi
Welcome to Colourful India. On arrival at International Airport you will be received by our representative and assisted to your hotel. After rest local sightseeing of the Old and New Delhi covering ancient building like Qutub Minar, Humayun’s Tomb, Red Fort, Raj Ghat. Overnight at New Delhi.

Day 02: Delhi – Agra (210 Km)
After breakfast proceed for Agra. Enroute visit Sikandara the mausoleum of the greatest emperor of India Akbar. Check in hotel and proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra, covering places like Taj Mahal – the most extravagant monument ever built for love Mumtaj Mahal by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1633. Agra Fort – visit of Agra Fort is must since so many incidents took place here. Overnight at Agra.

Day 03: Agra – Jaipur (235 Km)
Early morning visit to Taj Mahal. Back to Hotel. After breakfast drive to Jaipur. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri (old deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) visiting The Buland Darwaza / Palace of Jodha Bai / Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. Evening check in Hotel. Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 04: Jaipur
After breakfast proceed for excursion to Amber Fort in the outskirts of Jaipur followed by Elephant ride to the fort. Proceed for sightseeing of Palace of Winds better known as Hawa Mahal, City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar (Observatory). Overnight at Jaipur.

Day 05: Jaipur – Pushkar (140 Km)
After breakfast proceed for Pushkar. Reach Pushkar by noon. Check in Hotel. Visit the mausoleum, Anasagar and Akbar's Palace. Overnight at Pushkar.

Day 06: Pushkar – Delhi (400 Km)
After breakfast proceed for New Delhi. Evening check in Hotel. Free for leisure. Overnight at Delhi.
